Welcome to another Weekly Fitness Update, where I recap the week’s workouts and any other miscellaneous health/fitness-related thoughts. Thanks for helping me keep myself accountable 🙂
So, I’ll be 100% honest and tell you all that I don’t have hardly anything to report this week. The only real exercise I got was the 6+ hours of skiing (which honestly was such a good workout so I think that should count for 2-3 days instead of just 1 haha).
My legs are still store. It was intense. Anyways… I do have something I wanted to share with you (otherwise what would be the point of this post?!) — Cassie from Blogilates started a #FEBUREADY Project, the Blogilates Inspiration Board! So of course I spent a little time searching for some of my favorite #fitspo posts on Pinterest and Tumblr and put one together really quick. I’m digging it!
Here’s to a new month and continuing to strive to be better, committing to a healthier lifestyle, and focusing on my goals! Sometimes I go all ADD and forget that I need to be putting ALL of my free time and energy into getting healthy and losing weight (okay most of my free time.. gotta still have a life!). But seriously, sometimes I go off on these tangents about all these things I’d love to do, but in reality if I’m not healthy I won’t be around long enough to do them. So I know this happens to me a lot and I’m really trying to work on it so it happens less, but luckily Mike helps me realize what I’m doing and that I need to stop and refocus. I don’t know what I’d do without him! Also I’m just really ready for winter to be over so I can do more outdoor activities like running and biking. It’s drab!
See you next week (with hopefully better things to report). Oh, one more thing… I will say I have been eating healthier so I think that’s been helping. I think I’m going to do a separate post on some of the healthy meals I’ve been eating lately so stay tuned for that.
