Weekend Adventures (Part 2): The ABNY Expo

You’d think after a busy Saturday, I’d want to relax and do something low-key on Sunday… but nope! I had an even busier Sunday, but one that was absolutely worth it. The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL on Sunday.

I started the day off by heading to the A Beautiful New You: Health and Beauty Expo with my mom & Dawn. I had never heard of it until I was invited to attend, but it sounded interesting & fun so I figured why not!

We enjoyed seeing what each booth had to offer, getting free samples, and just being in an environment that supports health, fitness, and beauty! Plus they had some great tunes playing throughout the space.

The first table we were drawn to was the booth for Thirty-One products. They sort of have a Vera Bradley vibe, and it also helped that I was thinking about purchasing a new lunch bag for work… so my mom and I both got one!

Mom got the one on the left, and I got the one on the right. The bottom picture is of the cosmetic case set I also got because they had it on special (and I need to organize my beauty products!)

We also came across this interesting jewelry line called Mialisia. The basic concept is that the pieces are interchangeable, so you can customize them to your own preference to create necklaces, bracelets, belts, and more.

Lastly, we came across a company called Wholesale Buying Club. They had some rather interesting pieces, but Dawn and I both loved this skirt with the leather sides:

This isn't the best picture - but this skirt was awesome! Too bad they only had size smalls :(

We may have to stop by their store in Beachwood to see if they have any more!

It was really cool to meet so many people who are genuinely passionate about their work. I may not want or need all of their products/services myself, but I can appreciate the hard work they put in and know that someone out there might find these useful or interesting. So here’s a glimpse at some of the people & companies we talked to:

On our way out, we stopped to snap a few pics next to this pretty garden area with a fountain:

And that’s it for part 2 of my weekend adventures! Check back soon to see what else we did after the expo πŸ™‚
