Weekend Adventures & A Few of My Favorite Things

It feels like I blinked and the weekend was over. Crazy! I am so excited for this week though…

Hello, Cleveland! I will be seeing you bright and early tomorrow morning ๐Ÿ™‚

The only really exciting thing we did this past week/weekend was check out one of Mike’s favorite bands from his ska days… Streetlight Manifesto played at House of Blues, so I figured I’d bust out my old checkerboard Vans for the night. These bad boys have seen many a show back in my high school & early college days.

I hadn’t really ever listened to their music before, but I really enjoyed the show. It was intense – there’s a lot of different instruments & sounds going on. Really talented group, though.

The rest of my weekend was spent doing some shopping… both out of necessity and pleasure (celebratory retail therapy?). So I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite pieces I picked up this weekend:

So excited about my new mug! I’d love to try a DIY version, but I love the original so I had to get it.
“Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right”
This pretty little thing is from LOFT – can’t wait to wear this!
Another pretty LOFT find ๐Ÿ™‚

I also got a “free” haircut today (Sunday) at ULTA during their Cut-A-Thon (with a $10 donation towards Breast Cancer Research). My hair feels fabulous and I am glad that it was going towards something great!

How was your weekend? Did you spend any time outside during the fabulous weather on Saturday? I hope you have a great week!
