This past weekend, I got to relive college & sorority life a little bit. You may recall that I got appointed as an advisor for the Tri Sigma colony that will be coming to Case Western Reserve University in the Fall… so this weekend was their formal recruitment so my big (who is also serving on the advisor board with me!!!) & I went on behalf of Tri Sigma to observe the process & get a feel for how things work. We braved the crazy weather, learned a lot, and had a blast!
This is the outfit I put together to wear for observing preference round. If you’re not familiar with sororities or recruitment, this is the final round before bid day (and is also the most formal), so we wanted to dress up. Not going to lie, I love an excuse to wear a dress! Sweater tights make it bearable in the winter 😉
It’s not too elaborate but still looks dressy, and all of these items are definitely at a great budget-friendly price point. (Let’s face it, I’m a recent grad-turned-young professional with student loans and an entry level salary… you won’t be seeing many designer brands on here at the moment… haha!) #fashiononabudget
