My oh my, I don’t know about you all but I am so ready for the weekend! So what’s in store for this weekend? Birthdays.
Friday night, Mike & I are heading out to Kent (as long as the weather isn’t treacherous) for our friend Arielle’s birthday. We’re going to Guacamole’s mexican restaurant for dinner & then we’re all heading to the bars. If it’s anything like the last weekend we went to Kent, it should be an awesome time. I’m excited! Then on Saturday, it’s my friend Brianna’s birthday, so Mike & I are going to meet up with her in Cleveland at Horseshoe Casino, then we’re all going to a Lake Erie Monsters hockey game that night! It is going to be an incredibly busy, but incredibly fun weekend… so I’d be lying if I said I wanted tomorrow to go by slow, haha.
What are your weekend plans? Tell me about them in the comments!
And just for funzies, here’s some pictures from when we last went to Kent (about 3 weekends ago). Mike & I went to my sorority’s philanthropy event then we met up with my little sis/best friend Katie and her boyfriend and went to Guacamole’s (deja vu?) and to the bars. I’m in Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority but I’m technically a “5th year senior” which basically just means I’m an alumnae early. Since I commute to Kent and have a lot going on, I don’t have time to participate in my sorority anymore unfortunately, so that’s why I chose to do that option. But I still wanted to come out to their philanthropy and support all of my sisters, so it was really awesome that I was able to go. I got to see a few people I haven’t seen in a while that I very dearly missed 🙂 And I had the best time with my little, I love her to death. (P.S. “little” just means she’s my “little sis” within the sorority – sort of like a mentorship thing). So anyways, on to the photos!
That’s all the pictures I was able to take at the philanthropy event… so afterwards Mike & I met up with Katie at her apartment.
And that’s all the pictures from that weekend adventure! As you can see, a good time was had by all 😀 Considering it was the first time I’d been out in downtown Kent since last year, I think it was a much deserved night out.
