Remember a couple weeks ago when I got to model for the Goodwill Good Style Fashion Show? The event was super fun, and they even had a little pop-up shop filled with top picks from local Goodwill stores. I perused the racks and actually found a couple really great pieces – they look brand new and fit well! I finally got to wear one of my new pieces – a pattern-mixing dress – when I went to Taste of Lakewood last weekend! It was a gorgeous day – perfect for a fun summer dress.
I love the slight high-low hem of the dress, the floral print mixed with the geometric pattern, and of course the colors! My teal sunglasses and teal/yellow/coral earrings matched perfectly, too.
Taste of Lakewood was a lot of fun – albeit hot and crowded – but we got to try some great local Lakewood foods. I especially liked the herbal lemonade from Pepper’s Italian Restaurant and the black pepper wings from Around The Corner. My friend Katie also came to check it out, and it was so great to see her! We even got our photo taken by the official Cleveland Scene photographers at the event.
We also tried tacos from Barrio, the s’more from Deagan’s, a hot dog from Mahall’s, and my mom got a plate from India Garden to go. Successful feast at Taste of Lakewood!
