**Wow, so when I first started writing this post, I just wanted to tell you about a little side project I was going to start doing… but it has turned into something so much more than that!**
As I got more involved with Anchored in CLE, I stopped using the fitness Tumblr as much and started incorporating health & fitness on here. While I still want to talk about health and fitness on here when I can and when it feels right, I have decided to start using my old fitness blog again as well. (This is the part where I had intended to just start using the Tumblr fitness blog again, but my creative brain ran with the idea and now it’s an entirely new blog with it’s own set of social media accounts!!! Keep reading for more details and links!)
It’s totally random and out of nowhere, but I’m actually really excited about this. Not that I didn’t enjoy talking about health and fitness on Anchored in CLE – it just wasn’t what I originally intended the blog to focus on. Maybe it was just in my head, but I felt like there was sort of a disconnect… people who were already reading my blog were getting bombarded with pretty much only health and fitness related posts lately… and new readers probably looked at my blog name and didn’t expect to find anything health and fitness related, etc. I want Anchored in CLE to be the lifestyle blog I intended it to be and lately I haven’t been feeling inspired because I’ve been so focused on health and fitness (not that it’s a bad thing!). However, this isn’t JUST a health and fitness blog, and while it’s something I love and will continue to talk about, I want to continue to explore other things/passions/ideas too. In the end, I felt really compelled to create this new health and fitness focused blog, it just felt right. I think this will be a really good separation and will allow me to develop both blogs equally in their own respects.
So that’s where I’m at right now… hopefully that wasn’t too confusing. It’s a work in progress (like me!!), but I’ll figure it out along the way.

I reblogged many of the health & fitness posts from Anchored in CLE onto Jessica Gets Fit so it’s a little more cohesive. I am also considering doing a monthly digest-type post on here to keep those of you who are interested in health & fitness up-to-date (though I encourage you to follow Jessica Gets Fit, too!). Oh and don’t worry, this blog isn’t going anywhere either!
