A Fun & Family Filled Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend was a fantastic weekend spent with my family. My cousin graduated high school, so the family gathered up in Northwest Ohio near Toledo to celebrate with her. I got to spend time with my aunt, uncle, cousin, grandparents, mom, and boyfriend all at the same time. It was a perfect weekend.

So proud of this little lady!

The weather was GORGEOUS so we spent a lot of time outside by my aunt’s pond relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. We also had plenty of food on the grill!

Of course, Memorial Day is much more than just family time and cookouts. It’s a time to remember all those who serve our country & allow us to have the freedoms we so cherish. I grew up in a military family, so this rings close to home for me. My grandfather and both of my parents previously served in the NavyΒ (and my father passed while he was currently serving). My cousin is currently in the Navy, as well.

We honor you every single day, in our hearts and in our lives, and we miss you more than words can describe. Thanks for being my hero in the sky, always watching over me. I love you, Dad!
